Students will be asked to engage in some research around diversity in American schools. You may choose to use one of the lenses used in class $($SES$,$ race, geography, sexual orientation, etc.$).$ Students will conduct a search using library resources to find a qualitative or quantitative study that highlights ongoing research around diversity in our schools.

The study will need to be published in an education journal. While books and chapters can be useful, we want to focus on research that is happening currently.

It will need to concern American schools in some capacity. American schools are unique for many reasons. While international articles can teach us a lot about education, we want to focus on diversity in American schools.

The article needs to be fairly current. Avoid publications that are older than $15$ years.

Any article addressing diversity in pK$-20$ schools will be accepted.
