submit THREE (3) professionally written summaries of a research project you encountered in media of your choice. The idea is to describe (summarize, creatively i.e., ) THREE news accounts reporting on a scientific study or studies (any media found via web). See my example. Please include the link to the actual news piece, and if possible, to the actual study (as I did) that was described in the news source you used.

In other words, you please very basic introduction that might answer some (not all) of the questions listed below:

*What was the objective or purpose of the study (e.g., hypotheses, study questions)?

*Who were the research participants?

*What method was used to gather data (e.g., experiment, quasi-experiment, survey, etc.)?

*What were the independent and dependent variable(s) (if you can identify them)?

*What were the major findings?

*What conclusions did the authors draw?

*What is your (intuitive) assessment of the quality of the study?
