Styles Question 4 (10 marks) Mr James recently purchased a caf from Radburry Pty Ltd on the faith of representations made to him by the directors of Radburry Pty Ltd concerning the past and projected future profitability of the caf. In fact, the historical figures presented to Mr James (in the form of historical accounts) were inflated by 50%, and the projections amount to nothing more than a series of numbers "made up" by the directors of Radburry in order to induce Mr James to purchase the caf. Having only owned the caf for four weeks, Mr James has discovered that the figures put to him by the directors of Radburry were false (this can be established by reference to a series of source documents that Mr James has discovered since taking over the caf, including a collection of cash register z-tapes left in an old safe). Required: Advise Mr James as to whether he can rescind the agreement by reliance on the ACL. In your answer, you must cite relevant Legislation. (15 marks) Click or tap here to enter text.
