A new online ordering system at Kaido Berhad took 20 minutes to load on a computer, and it crashed frequently. Kaido Berhad has terminated their previous online system with the expectation that the new system will work efficiently. They did not prepare conceptual systems design report due to the system was prepared in short period of time. The lead project manager for the new system quit during the project, the in-house programmers were reassigned to other projects and two layers of management did not monitor the systems analyst. The management hired Easy Solution as a consultant to fix the system but after four months the cost incurred had reached RM230,000. Thus, the project was discontinued. Easy Solution also have made a large number of programming mistakes. Kaido Berhad's system analyst was unable to locate and identify the mistake made by the consultant. System analyst also was not able to complete several output design report due to this issue.
