Skills Practice: Mock Counseling Session

Find a friend, relative, or classmate to role-play a suicidal client. As you role-play as their counselor, first assess how seriously at risk they are for actually committing suicide. Then intervene using crisis intervention and problem-solving skills to help them create a plan for their safety.
