Les villes francophones

In this project you will be required to do the following:

• write your city and country's name on a title slide with a interesting background and illustrations
• show a flag which represents the country your city is situated in \

exemple: Paris, France

• the population of your city
• french significance: look into the history of your city and share in your presentation the historical events that led up to your city/country speaking french

example perhaps it was a french colony before,discuss the explorer discovered your place and how it was colonized

• cuisines of your city: describe at least 3 different cuisines that your city is well know for avoid generic foods like: pizza, hot dogs, and hamburgers

• special events: what are some special celebrations or events that take place in your city or country( National Holidays)

• climate what is the weather like in your city how does it affect francophones lives: sports, outdoor activities

• Name 2 or 3 interesting things that your city is well-known for example if you were a travel agent wanting to get people to visit your city, what are some interesting things that would entice visitors or tourists to come!

You should have at least 8 google slides that show and discuss the above criteria. Your presentation should have a lot of illustrations and brief descriptions which must be written correctly in French. The last slide should be for a bibliography which demonstrates your research. Have at least 5 sources cited using MLA format.

*** please remember to pay close attention to detail. This project is worth 10% of your final grade in the course!!!!
