We have recently embarked on a pilot project with a major bank in the UK, Bank XYZ. Bank XYZ has a need to automate some of the mundane, low value but essential work of performing compliance reviews of all their marketing brochures. This compliance review is a requirement from the UK Financial Industry regulators to avoid banks mis-selling financial instruments to the public. This means that particular phrases or terms either must be included in the brochure or must not be. The key things that need to be checked in the documents are as follows: 1. Clearly sets out any charges that will apply to the potential investor. 2. Appropriately describes the risks involved in an investment. 3. Gives the reader the right to cancel and further information on how to cancel their investment. You have been given 3 generic brochures to accompany this case study. As a Data Analyst, you will need to analyse these sample documents to identify evidence of the above requirements in each document. You will then need to determine a pattern between all 3 documents so that the above rule can be programmed in our Al system such that it will find the evidence for each rule in all 3 documents. In the table below is a description of some of the checks that our system can perform Based on your analysis, which rule or combination of rules would you use to perform the 3 checks required above? Rule Name Section Heading-Unstructured Text Table Heading-String Matching Description The system can be taught a sentence or phrase, and will identify similar sentences in other documents (even if the sentences are different but mean the same thing). Identifies a particular table in a document and looks for a specific string (ie, series of words) in that table. Identifies a particular section in a document and looks for a specific string (ie, series of words) in that table. Identifies a particular section in a document and looks for a keyword.
