Suppose everyone is catching fish at MSY as a group (i.e. equal division of the yield). How is it possible to increase someone's (i.e. individual's) sustainable yield from this level? O It is possible because MSY is merely an ideal level of catch, we can increase sustainable yield above MSY as a group if we want. O It is possible because although the total yield is reduced from MSY, the yield of the individual can still be increased at the expense of reduced yield of everyone else. Over all we are catching below MSY. O It is NOT possible to increase an individual yield because we are already catching at MSY. O We can always increase the yield. We just need to reduce the yield in the future. Then, on average, the sustainable yield is greater
