Suppose we have a fair 6-sided die that we roll "A" number of times. For each random variable, match it to the correct distribution:

A) Roll until we see our first three (3). A = the number of rolls. What is the distribution of A?

B) Roll the die 10 times. Let A = the number of even outcome. What is the distribution of A?

A. Bernoulli (1/2)

B. Bernoulli (1/6)

C. Binomial (10, 1/2)

D. Binomial (10, 1/6)

E. Geometric (1/6)

F. Geometric (1/2)

G. Uniform (1,2,3,4,5,6)

For A I get (E) Geometric (1/6) since this is a fixed number of successes (geometric) and the probability is 1/6 since this is a fair six sided die.

For B I get (C) binomial (10, 1/2) since this is a fixed number of trials (binomial) with ten rolls and even/odd having a 1/2 probability.

My question is A, if I am correct and if not, please explain so I know what I need to study.
