Suppose you are a very reputed and giant Food processing company. You have the backward linkage factory to support your food factory. To support your main factory you have also the Flour Mill and packaging factory. The company source the Wheat for its Flour Mill from 3 sources of XYZ, ABC & QMS. They are located at Rajshahi. The company has a Wheat Storage Warehouse at Bogura. All the 3 suppliers of the Wheat, supply the Wheat at the Bogura Warehouse. The company has a big setup at Gajipur Dhaka where the Flour Mill, and the Automated Bakery factory located. All these factories are in the same compound. In addition, there are Inbound Material Warehouse and also Outbound Finished Pack Warehouse in the same compound.

The Wheat, transport from Bogura Warehouse to Factory Inbound Material Warehouse and all other materials such as Sugar, Butter, Nut and for packaging factory Paper, Poly are delivered by the suppliers to the Inbound Material Warehouse. From their, Wheat is issued to Flour Mill after conversion to Flour it is send back to Inbound Warehouse and from there it is issued to the Bakery. All others raw materials are issued from Inbound Warehouse to Bakery. Once Finished Pack is completed then all those are transferred to Outbound Warehouse.

Company follow the indirect marketing. So from Centrel Finished Goods Warehouse (Outbound Warehouse) its send Finished Goods to 7 major distributor across the country.
