Susan and Eddie live on neighboring properties. For years, each complained to the other about the narrowness of each of their respective driveways. 10 years ago, Eddie suggested, and Susan agreed, that they should take out the wood dash slate events that then separated their two properties and combined the two driveways to create an extra wide common driveway. The common driveway extended 5 feet into each property. Both contributed money and labor to the effort. For the last ten years both regularly have used the common driveway. Six months ago Susan sold her property to Peter. Peter commissioned a survey of the land and discovered that the common driveway engrossed 5 feet into his property.
