Many people are in crisis right now due to the pandemic and other national crises. There are many issues: fear, anxiety, unemployment, poverty, lack of housing/evictions/homelessness, lack of food, children not getting meals, children falling behind in school due to distance earning, lack of computers and internet access in homes, lack of healthcare access, mistrust of the healthcare system, and more. Based on your personal experiences with yourself, your family, or your friends, choose someone you may know that needs assistance the most. Using the attached 2017 DE HMS Directory and other resources you can find, develop a "Needs Plan". The template is attached. Make sure you apply the crisis intervention skills you learned this week. When writing the plan, complete it as if you are creating it for someone to actually use. Make it detailed and easy for the person to use and follow. And make it appropriate. i.e. If they live in Seaford, don't make them have to drive to Wilmington
