Syarifah Miza Sdn. Bhd. a subsidiary of Syed Othman Bhd. Syarifah Miza Sdn. Bhd. has incurred a net loss of RM10 million for the year ended 31 December 2012. The only liability is the amount due to Syed Othman Bhd. of which Syed Othman Bhd.gave assurance that it will not demand payment within the next 12 months. This matter was adequately disclosed in the notes to the accounts.
