System Conceptualization, idea Intro

The concept of the system is to help low-income residents who do not have a car/vehicle commuting but rely on the public transportation system to help the poor.Although the government has been providing such assistance in public transportation by subsidizing transportation cooperation, in most cases, passengers must wait for the next bus after the business ends. In addition, public transportation may not stop at the exact address predetermined by the traveler and may need to isolate a distance or use a secondary source of transportation to reach the destination. Low-income residents often operate on a fixed schedule, where public transportation schedules do not match travel needs, causing people who must arrive early to lose time. Subsidized car rental is an assistance program in which income eligibility is usually based on a percentage of the local median income

I am proposing a design for a subsidized car rental system that will be owned by the city government. The Subsidized Vehicle Rental System (SVRS) is a web-based system that allows low-income residents to rent vehicles at an income-based subsidy rate.The subsidized car rental system will be able to screen the income eligibility of potential customers and then allow them to register and rent cars/vehicles via the Internet.

My anticipated stakeholders are:

1. Municipal Government (system owner)
2. Low-income residents (customers)
3. Insurance agency
4. Car dealers
5. Executive and Staff to run the system operation

What the system will do

• The system will use eligibility screening system to allow low-income residents to register and rent a vehicle he/she want in other to meet appointment schedule.
• The system shall monitor and manage customers' Information and Status
• The system shall manage Car Information and Status
• The system shall manage Rentals Info and Prizes
• The system shall allow the customer to make a payment by using a credit or debit card
• The system shall record all Transactions
• The system shall allow users to register and login with their google account
• The system shall allow users to delete or modify their reservations
• The system shall automatically update once a reservation is created, or a new customer is registered
• The system shall automatically update once a new car is picked up, returned, or added
• The system shall allow administrator to search for a specific vehicle online
• The system shall allow customer to make an online vehicle reservation.
• The system shall determine eligibility and provide equitable customer for subsidy benefit.
• The system shall allow user to view the cars that are added onto the system
• The system shall allow user to print a particular page.
