Systemic Racism is the process through which society institutions promote and sustain racial inequality. Schools in largely Black and Latino communities, for example, frequently get less financing than schools in predominantly white districts, resulting in inequities in educational opportunities and outcomes. This, in turn, has an impact on income and wealth accumulation. Discrimination in the Labor Market: People of color are frequently subjected to discrimination in the labor market, such as being less likely to be employed or promoted and being paid less than their white colleagues for the same work. This adds to inequities in income and wealth
