SAT Means and Standard Deviations

The table shows all of the means used to carry out the ANOVA. These include the mean (M) and standard deviation (SD) of each of the study's subgroups as well as the Ms and SDs for each factor and the overall M and SD.

• Each cell shows the M and SD for the students to which both factors apply. For example,Cell #1shows the M and SD of students in Training Group A who are taking Algebra 2.
• The row labeled "Total" shows the M and SD for all students in each of the training groups. For example,Cell #2shows the M and SD for all students in Training Group A.
• The column labeled "Total" shows the M and SD for all students in each math course. For example,Cell #3shows the M and SD of all students enrolled in Algebra 2.
• Cell #4shows the M and SD for all students who participated in the study.
