Take a few seconds to think about where you plan to be in the future. Yes, this does relate to families and children and bank statements and houses and cars, etc. Then write out a 1- page, double-spaced story about your future upon graduation. Write it from the perspective of a retired you, reflecting back on what it took for you to achieve your financial goals. Try to answer the following:

• What fears did you have in university about money and finance?
• Did you further your education after university? If so, where and for how long? How much did college cost you? (think about more than just money)
• What kinds of jobs or careers did you have as an adult? How much money did you make and how much were you able to save?
• Did you get married? If so, then what did that do to your finances and money?
• Did you have kids? How many? What did that do to your finances and money?
• Did you choose to invest your money? If so then how?
• Now describe your life as a retired, fulfilled, and happy adult. Did financial security play into your success? How might you define success?
