TASK 1: a) Plot the location points (2D plot using all of the latitude, longitude value pairs in the dataset. Clearly indicate points that are invalid, outliers or noise points. Invalid Points: The scatter plot below shows the latitude-longitude plot of the raw data from a large dataset in taxi.csv. They are showing clear invalid points There are 2 extreme data points further away from the cluster zone. One point is seen beyond latitude value of 50 and longitude value near 0. Another point can be seen at latitude value of below 40 and longitude value of above 15. The data is collected after every 7 secs so it is not possible for a driver to go that far in just 7 secs and there are no leading data points in between those points. Realistically, it is impossible to differ by such magnitude of latitude and longitude in 7 seconds. Therefore these are clearly invalid location values. These data points are definitely not in Rome as can be shown in the 2nd picture where I have plotted the invalid data points on a google map.
