Importantly, this assessment task requires you to express an opinion - a central argument - in relation to ZARA and human rights issue. This opinion should be clearly articulated and supportedwith compelling arguments and analysis. Theblog should be based peer-reviewed journal articles, papers, books, etc.

You can also reference newspaper reports, published government reports and publications, institutional reports and regulatory standards, and other similar official materials.

Assessment structure

A blog post, rather than a research essay, is the final assessment in this course as it better reflects the format and style of writing that could reasonably be expected in a range of professions.The target audience of this task is an educated lay-audience - akin to what you may find in a professional setting in a range of professional industries and workplaces. It demands that students offer a perspective on an issue or topic and persuade the reader of the veracity of their claim in a relatively short length.Ablog is not as structured as an academic essay or report, you will need to keep the following tips in mind:

• Use short, punchy sentences and short paragraphs.
• Use plain language, avoiding the use of jargon and specialised terms and acronyms should be appropriately explained.
• Use bullet points, bold, italics, underlining texts and headings, when relevant.
• When relevant, use images (e.g., free stock images or memes), videos (e.g., YouTube video or gifs) and links to demonstrate your thinking.
• Memes are ok, just remember your audience and always consider appropriateness!
• Think carefully about the structure of the post. As someone once said, instead of treating it as a murder-mystery in which at the very end you only learn who the killer is, share the key points of your post at the beginning and then try to unpack it and support your arguments.
• Feel free to share your opinion and be more speculative than you would be in a formal academic essay. However, try to back up your arguments with evidence (reference) and always be respectful and use appropriate language.
• Do use references and cite them correctlyinan appropriateformat
