Design a conceptual ER schema based on the description below. Use any suitable software to

design the diagram.

A software development company ABC has a Human Resource department which keeps

records of its employees. Each employee has an identification number, first name, last name,

email address, phone number, physical address, date of hire and salary. Some employees earn

commission in addition to their salary depending on their output. Each employee is assigned

to one department and a department can have many employees. Each department must have

a manager who is an employee. A manager can only manage one department.

ABC operates in multiple locations and has many departments in each location. Each

department is associated with one location, and each location may have many departments.

A department is identified by a unique department number and name. A location has a

location identifier, physical address, postal address, post code, city, and county. A location

belongs to a country and a country can have multiple locations. Also, a country belongs to a

region and a region is composed of multiple countries.

The company keeps a record of jobs within the organization. A job has an identification code,

job title, minimum and maximum salary range for the job. Each employee has only one job

and a job can be occupied by many employees.
