Task 2: Role Play Submission Details of Assessment The assessment task is due on the date specified by your assessor. Any variations to this arrangement must be approved in writing by your assessor. Instructions 1. Arrange a time to meet with your assessor and two classmates (playing the role of team members) to participate in this role-play. 2. During this 'meeting' role-play, you will need to: a. communicate the information you received in the email from Mary Johns b. outline the team purpose, roles, responsibilities and accountabilities in accordance with organisational goals, plans and objectives (this information is in your briefing document) c. outline your Six-month Performance Plan d. ask your team members questions to clarify and discuss the information you have provided e. ensure the team members are clear about their role and responsibilities f. outline the strategies you will use to support the team to meet their KPIs g. communicate the implementation and monitoring plan to ensure that team members take responsibility of own work and assist others to perform their roles and responsibilities within the team h. outline the leadership techniques and strategies to provide feedback to your team members. 3. During the role-play when you are playing the role of a team member a. ask questions to the Outlet Manager to confirm understanding of the plan and strategies b. provide feedback to the Outlet Manger regarding the plan and strategies discussed.
