TASK A: CONDUCT A SESSION WITH A TEAM MEMBER TO ESTABLISH WORK GOALS You will be placed in groups of THREE nominated by your trainer and you are to conduct a role play meeting during class time to assist in developing work goals, plans and activities. You will take turns on playing three roles: one of a HR Manager, another as an IT Support Officer and a Mobile Phone Sales Assistant of a Mobile Phone company. As the HR Manager you will conduct 2 (TWO) performance development reviews for both roles in IT. You will only be assessed on your practical skills as the HR Manager, you will need to complete TWO records using the EMPLOYEE CAREER PLAN MEETING RECORD template provided below, you must record the following information: 1. Discuss and agree on the main objectives of the IT Support Officer and the Mobile Phone Sales Assistant. Please see below list of responsibilities as an example to help select the work goals:IT SUPPORT OFFICER DUTIES/FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES: maintaining records of software licences o managing stocks of equipment, consumables, and other supplies talking to clients and computer users to determine the nature of problems responding to breakdowns o installing and configuring computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers, scanners and more planning and undertaking scheduled maintenance upgrades investigating, diagnosing and solving computer software and hardware faults agreeing call-out timescales O obtaining replacement or specialist components, fixtures or fittings repairing equipment and replacing parts supervising junior engineering and technical staff ensuring compliance with health and safety legislation checking computer equipment for electrical safety MOBILE PHONE SALES ASSISTANT DUTIES/FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES: Provide sales support to customers and increase Mobile Phone sales by 5% Perform cold call to potential clients/customers Develop personal book of business by preparing sales plan Generate significant number of phone leads from various sources Utilize regional call centre in performing outbound calls Create and sustain cordial relationship with new customers Achieve minimum standards for sales quotas, quotes, and calls Improve revenue by penetrating to existing customer base Produce price and credit term quotes o Utilise knowledge of company's production and execute schedules in scheduling product installation date for customers O Coordinate phone sales related training on customer acquisition, retention, etc. to new associates Apply computer database in logging different sales data for current customers, as well as for saving new customer information Ensure the development and maintenance of professional and mutually beneficial relationship with customers Perform investigation on conformance issues and resolve them promptly.2. Provide information of the following according to their role and responsibilities: a) What is their career goal? b) What is their career plan? c) What activities have they taken or plan to take to meet their career goal? 3. Provide feedback to the IT Support Officer and Mobile Phone Sales Assistant based on your knowledge as a HR Manager and show support by advising them on how to progress their career and achieve their career goals. After you have completed the HR Manager 1:1 role play session for both roles, you will be swapping roles going into the IT Support Officer role or the Mobile Phone Sales Assistant, so that the other student has a turn to conduct a 1:1 session as the HR Manager. (Please note, this task does not require an observation and you will be assessed based on the information you provide in the 'Employee career plan meeting record' form below).EMPLOYEE CAREER PLAN MEETING RECORD (Please complete and submit TWO records) 1. Please discuss and at least FIVE (5) main work objectives of their specific role. 2.
