Task: You have been hired as a news reporter for UIHS Economic News. Your job is to examine today's news headlines in order to find a particular event (national or international) that they feel will have an impact on Canada's GDP. You must establish a connection between

a) the real world event (i.e. trade embargo, bug infestation, aging population),

b) an economic indicator (i.e. inflation rate, exchange rate, interest rate, unemployment rate), and finally, c) Canada's GDP.

This assignment is to be recorded as a video file (television interview). Your video should be between 5-7 minutes long. You should pretend it is a real interview. Make eye contact with the interviewer or audience and use appropriate body language. Thus, this is meant to be a brief interview that demonstrates your understanding of the connection between real world events and economic conditions.
