Puan Kamilah has recorded the following expenses which would require adjustments, if the business wants to determine accurately the profit or loss for the year. The following account balances were drawn up at the year-end 31 December 2020. Credit (RM) Debit (RM) 7,000 380 15,000 Insurance expense Electricity expense Rent expense Interest on investments Dividend Advertising expense Rental revenue 360 250 960 3,000 At the end of the year, the following information was available: i. The business sign up for the insurance expense at RM500 monthly. However, during the year, Puan Kamilah paid insurance expense in advance. ii. Electricity expense that was accrued was RM20. Rent expense was paid at the beginning of the business for 3 months in advance. iv. 10% interest on investment valued RM10,000 for the year was not fully paid. The business only record the amount received from the interest. Advertising expense was for 6-months period starting from 1 October 2020. vii. Rental revenue was rent for 3-months starting from 1 November 2020. 111. Required: Draw up relevant journal entries to record the above adjustment.
