It focused on delivering value to Indian customers with advanced technologies and committed to creating sustainable value in the Indian aerospace sector. In 2016, Tata Advanced Systems (TASL) and Boeing announced to form a joint venture named Tata Boeing Aerospace Limited (TBAL) in Hyderabad to produced vertical stabilizer structures for the 737 Max, Boeing AH-64 Apache helicopter fuselages and other aerostructures. The new production line will also utilize cutting-edge robotics and automation in manufacturing. The expansion will create additional employment opportunities and enable skill development as well. According to Sukaran Singh, CEO of TASL, the expansion of the aerostructure manufacturing capabilities with the new production line was a landmark in the company's collaboration with Boeing. Skilled talent, robust infrastructure, ease of doing business, and a highly responsive government administration will make Boeing products more globally competitive.
