Taylor Cable was hired as the a head swimming coach in the fall for Big Stuff University. As the swim coach, Taylor is responsible for scheduling meets, practice. Maintaining compliance with the league Midwest Conference, (MWC) and mentoring the student athletes. Coach Cable came to the university as a top candidate and former US Olympic gold medal winner, married with five children.

On November 1st2021, student athlete Kaceystopped by Coach Cable's office to discuss displeasure about not competing in meets. Kacey explained to Coach Cable that they came to Big Stuff University to compete and pursue their dream of being an Olympic medalist and based on the current situation, that goal appeared unobtainable. Kacey pleaded with Coach Cable to compete in all matches because they were #1 swimmer in their state coming into college.

Coach Cable, asked Kacey to shut the door and said "I understand what you want, but what about me?" Kacey, with a confused look said, "Coach, I don't know what you mean, but what do you want?" At that time, Coach Cable told Kacey, if they did something for them, consideration could be made to allow Kacey to compete and not just practice. Coach Cable asked for backrubs after practice in the office and other "special favors" when the rest of the team is not around. This made Kacey very uncomfortable, however, swimming was the most important thing, so a relationship ensued and Kacey.

On January 21, 2022, after a meet in which Kacey placed first, Coach Cable wanted to celebrate in a more explicit way. Coach Cable, attempted to kiss Kacey which was met with denial and a swift move away. At that time, Kacey left the office and after that, did not compete in any more matches through the end of the season which ended, March 23, 2022. Kacey was also not chosen to compete in MWC, championships. As a result, Kacey was ineligible to train and compete in the swimming nationals and thus the Olympic trial.

In May, 2022, Kacey decide to transfer from the University. Kacey believes, the treatment severely impeded her career and would like resolution, Kacey contacts a lawyer and decided to sue.
