Team Instructions: Part 2 - Candidate Assessment- American Airline Customer Service Agent
In the Team Report Part 2, you will develop an assessment plan that will enable you to assess candidates at each stage of the applicant flow (see the video on Week Six Module).You will be creating an assessment plan based on your assessment goals as well as factors such as the quality, validity, and cost of the various assessment methods. Finally, you will devise a plan to ensure that the candidate will have future viability.
Please proceed through this phase in the following order. You cannot develop an assessment plan until you determine your assessment goals! Therefore, you must work together as a team and do this sequentially! Please submit the following information:
1. Assessment Goals
a. Develop a set of assessment goals for your assigned organization (Chapter 9). Name and describe each of these goals. (Note. Fit is an important goal, but please include other assessment goals as well).
b. You are already aware that job-fit is important, but organizational-fit is also important. Based on your company's goals, culture, and strategies what type of person will fit? (Discuss the potential candidate's desirable values, beliefs, personality, etc. and how these will fit with the values, norms, and culture, etc. of the organization.)
