Team; Organizations around the world are trying to reduce the threat of ever evolving cyber-attacks. InfoSec, hopefully in partnership with IT, are constantly searching for new exploits spreading "in the wild." Given the increasing sophistication and diversity of threat vectors, is it possible to proactively prevent that which is unforeseen or is it a matter of effective rapid response? Some highly compensated, and often self-appointed, Cybersecurity "Thought Leaders" coach Boards of Directors and CEO's to having their organizations follow specific cybersecurity best practices as a basic expectation of modern business. At the same time, others in industry propose Cybersecurity can be much more than a basic expectation, that if crafted properly, it can be a competitive advantage.
