Ted has a job working as a vet in Sydney at Animals R Us Vet Clinic Pty Ltd. When he started the job several years ago, he signed an employment contract preventing him from contacting any of his employer's clients within two years of leaving it. Ted decides to leave his job to start his own vet clinic using a company structure. Soon after that he contacts all of his clients from Animals R Us Vet Clinic Pty Ltd and many of them bring their pets to his new clinic. When Animals R Us Vet Clinic Pty Ltd find out what Ted has done, they are furious and take legal action.
