Temasek Foods Industrial Park in Jurong, has been assigned by the Singapore Government to house mainly the food companies. This growing food processing industry requires gases with high purity and of substantial quantities.

You have recently joined Gases Pte Ltd as their new process engineer to overlook this new project. Your company intends to set-up a gas-plant in this Industrial Park to provide some of the gases to the food companies.

The gas requirement of the food companies are in the following areas:

Oxidation of raw materials

Hydrogenation

Storage with inert gases to prevent reaction or contamination

Freezing in packaging prior to shipping
