You are the Event Manager for the Midwest Association of Home Remodelers and just returned from your associations annual convention. Your boss would like you to analyze the registration data from the event for the post event report. Use the Excel file in the weeks Module titled Registration Data for Assignment to complete your analysis. Your boss would like your analysis to be provided to him in a Word file.
To complete this analysis you will need to do the following (see your Excel training for help):
Note: All numbers should be whole numbers, meaning that decimals should NOT be included.
- Create a Chart Showing the Percentage of Attendees from Each State
- Add up the number of attendees from each state and input the number in the graph tab
- Total the number of attendees
- Calculate the percentage of total each state represents
- Using the states and percentages, create a pie chart
- Change the chart title to Attendees by State, use Calibri font size 14
- Add data labels to your chart, so that the percentage each piece of the pie represents shows up in the pie
- Ensure the chart has a legend and it is on the right side
- Ensure the data labels and legend are Calibri font size 12
- Copy the chart area and paste it in the Word doc as an editable chart it cannot be an image of the chart
- WARNING: Total should not be included and no numbers should be in your chart, only percentages

- Add up the number of attendees in each age range and input the number in the graph tab
