Tests of controls findings

1)You examine a number of cases where customers return products shipped and their accounts had to be adjusted because they received the wrong product. You examined various documents related to these orders and they are in good order and indicate that the products shipped were the products identified in the sales order. The products that were erroneously shipped were products that Pill carries in the material master file, but they were not the ones the customer thought it was ordering on that particular order. You noted that the customers involved were long term approved customers, all of whom made use of Pill's secured online order entry website. You asked your IT audit colleagues from your firm about any possibility of lack of security or breaches of the website by unauthorized personnel and they have responded that the chance of that would be zero.

2)You found a number of delays in billing's sending out the initial invoices sent to new customers due to absence of a mailing address in the customer master record.
