To correct or prevent Text Neck Syndrome, doctors recommend doing stretches, making sure you have proper posture, and limiting device use. However, many people forget to do these things while using their hand-held devices. One persona for this problem is Sara, a 15-year old teenage woman who lives in Mumbai. Sara owns an iPhone and is very active on social media. She has many active followers on Instagram and other social media apps. Sara likes to take pictures of herself and post them online. She interacts with her followers by responding to every Like and Comment. Sara also spends a lot of time texting her friends. Sara spends time in the house or in school walking around while staring at the phone. Recently, she started having neck pain. The doctor gave her pain killers and suggested that she reduce time spent on the phone. She was also advised Sara to correct her posture while using the phone, but it doesn't seem to be helping. People like Sara who frequently use hand-held devices would benefit from a solution. That solution could either alleviate current discomfort, prevent the problem from worsening, or reduce the likelihood of the problem occurring in the first place.
