Thandiwe is proofreading a paragraph from her report about the economy of Laos. Can you help her to identify the errors in her writing?

Laos has undergone economic transition since the late 1970s and, while the associated reforms have altered the nations economic profile, the impact on economic performance has not been as massive. As a former province of French Indochina, Laos became a socialist state in 1975 after Vietnamese forces deposed the royalist government (Owen 2005). As everyone knows, the Lao People's Revolutionary Party (LPRP) quickly monopolised political power and established a planned economic model. Therewith, the state assumed control of key industries and implemented policies broadly aimed at emulating Communist economic structures in neighbouring Vietnam (Winckler 1999). In the late 1970s, a lowkey attempt was made at collectivising Laos large subsistence agricultural sector (comprising almost three quarters of GDP). But this failed and was discontinued after a single year. And due to political unrest and shocking economic performance, the LPRP was forced to incrementally abandon its planned economic model.
