My professor has posed a question which really has me confused because it seems as though several answers could be correct, but I think I am to only select one. The question looks like this:

"The relationship of response styles to item content is best describes as:

a. positive b. negative c. curvilinear d. zero

I would think depending on the item content, the answer could be a or b. What do you think?
