Thank you for your perspective on visible body art and the workplace. As you mention, in some cases safety may be an issue. Certainly metal around machines is a problem. Perhaps even facial hair and respirators may be an issue.

The employers must be careful in dress codes. They cannot be discriminatory. Perhaps a balance is an appropriate perspective in this issue.
