The 1st Amendment gives wide latitude for "Freedom of Expression." However one type of expression that does not have 1st Amendment protection is: "Vulgar" acts and gestures on a public street in support of a political campaign True Obscenity (If we can define it as "obscene" such as with child pornography.) "Rude" expression such as "F__k You!" All the above are without 1st Amendment protection
