In contrast, some disadvantage of subnational governments Is that they can be politically motivated to make decisions that may not be best suited to govern communities with the open-mindedness that is sometimes needed for creating more critical decisions for policy changes or fund allocations to help communities in need. An example of a different mindset in political sidedness is that on a more conservative side, the typical belief is that what matters most is more of a sink-or-swim society and pro-life.
