The assignment requires you to write a short program and submit the python file. It is important that your assignment does not have any syntax errors since this will result in deductions. Where do I pass in my assignment? Go to the BrightSpace folder called Assignments and find the appropriate assignment folder (e.g., Assignment 2). You can upload as many files as you want - we will only mark the latest submission. What files do I pass in? The python code (it will have a .py extension - done by saving your program from IDLE). You MUST upload the python code file (rather than a word document or a PDF file - these will receive a grade of 0). You are responsible for submitting the correct files to avoid any omissions that cost points, we strongly recommend that you download your submitted files AFTER submitting them and double check that they are the appropriate ones (by opening it from IDLE and running it). Please see the syllabus for lateness policy - in general, do not wait till the last minute to upload. Collaboration policy (From the syllabus): Plagiarism and collaboration policy: You may collaborate with others at the conceptual level of assignments and tutorials (where conceptual is the algorithmic level, but NOT the code level). You may also collaborate at the code level with one other person - if you do, you must clearly indicate the name of the person you worked with on the assignment you pass in. Please do this by adding a line at the top of the python file that indicates your name and your partner's name (don't forget to put the # at the start of the line, see below): # John Smith and Beth McDonald worked together on this assignment Group collaboration at the code level with more than 2 people is not permitted this will be strictly enforced.
