The Association of Kenyan Musicians (AKM), an organization that spearheads the interests of musicians, is aggrieved by what it terms as 'continued suppression' of the efforts of its members by authorities in the country. This comes in the wake of several popular songs being banned from airplay by local radio and television stations on the basis that their content is promoting increased moral decadence in the country.
