Founded by Toyota Kiichiro in Japan 1933. The first Toyota was the Model AA sedan, and released in 1936. Toyota is still based in Japan as of today. Toyota currently manufactures its vehicles in USA, while some models are exclusively made in Japan. Toyota likely decided to manufacture its vehicles in USA for various reasons.
