The book I'm using is college accounting 13th Canadian edition. Chapter 4 Group C problems the problem i am on is P4-4C. i need help in the B. part of the problem rent data. i dont understand what i have to do for the rent expense and the prepaid rent.

This is what the question says - prepaid rent had a $500 balance at the beginning of year. an additional $400 in rent was paid in advance in June. At year-end, $200 in rent had expired.
