The Canadian salmon industry must expand it's markets abroad particularly in regard to Japan. Although consumption of salmon is decreasing in Canada they are increasing in Japan. The problem that is for the canadian salmon industry is developing apropriate marketing strategies to boost its current sale in Japanese markets
