The candidate should design and optimise an ALU with two 8-bit operands, which is capable of executing the following three operations: (i) A sum between two 8-bit unsigned numbers The increment of an 8-bit unsigned numbers (ie adding one to the operand) (ii) The decrement of an 8-bit operand (ie subtracting one from the operand) The answer should provide a diagram of the design and discuss any optimisation
