The Case of Jill

look at the case study of Jill and determine a therapeutic approach that would allow her to grow and make changes. Case Study: Jill Jill is a 50 year-old-female. She has been divorced for three years and admits it was a difficult and nasty divorce, which left her living in a small apartment as compared to a very large home the family shared. They have two children, a 17-year-old male and a 24 year old female. The boy lives with his father and the girl is living on her own. Jill has no desire to go to work as she states, "she has no skills and prefers to keep collecting the alimony". Jill has a few friends but they only stay friends with her for a short time as she becomes very dependent upon them, which causes them to keep their distance over time. It appears that Jill has low self-esteem and confidence in her abilities and states, "She feels each day she is just living to exist." Jill has been in and out of therapy since she was 10 years old. What would you want to explore with Jill before making a decision as to which approach you may use?
