The cash account of Eagle Co. on May 1, 2020 indicated a balance of $10,578.00 During May the total cash deposited was $6,630.60, and checks written totaled $8,676.61. On May 31 company cash account showed a balance of $8,531.99 and the Bank Statement indicated a cash balance of $14,145.54. Comparing the bank statement, the cancelled checks and the company cash account, indicated the following reconciling items:

1. Checks Outstanding totaled $1,226.50.

2. A deposit of $1,325.05 was recorded in the checkbook but had not cleared the bank.

3. A check for the amount of $62.40 was incorrectly recorded by Marvel Co. in the checkbook for $624.00.

4. The bank collected $5,400.00 on a note receivable payable to Marvel Co. The principle amount of the note was $5,000.00 and the interest amount was $400.00.

5. The bank service charge for May was $24.10. 6. A check received for $225.40 was returned by the bank because of insufficient funds. (NSF)
