The cash account of Windsor Co. showed a ledaser balance of $10,206.41 on June 30,2025. The bank statement as of that date
showed a balance of $10,790. Upon comparing the statemant with the cash records, the following facts were datermined.
There were banik service charges for June of $65.
A bank memo stated that Bao Dai's note for $3,120 and interest of $93.60 had bean collected on June 29, and the bank had
made a charge of $14.30 on the collaction. (No entry had been made on Windsor's books when Bao Dai's note was sent to the
bank for collaction.)
Receipts for June 30 for $8,814 were not depositad until July 2.
Checks outstanding on June 30 totalad $5,553.73.
The bank had charzed the Windar Co.'s account for a cuatomer's uncallectible chack amounting to $658.32 on June 29.
A custamar's check for $234(as payment on the custamar's Accounts Recaivable' had been entared as $156 in the cash
receipts journal by Windgar on June 15.
Check ne.742 in the amount of $491 had besn entersd in the cash journal as $419, and chack no.747 in the amount of
$151.32 had been entersd as $1,513.20. Both chacks had been issued to pay for purchases and wers paymants on Windsor's
Accounts Pryable.
