The chief building official or a person designated by the chief building official may not issue a permit to authorize occupancy of a building when: Question 24 options: a. The structure of the building or part of it is completed to the roof, b. The walls enclosing the space to be occupied are completed, including balcony guards, c. All required fire separations and closures are completed on all storeys to be occupied, d. The sewage system is not completed and not in operation
