The Chief has asked your team to free $10 billion earmarked for combat forces in order to offset the expected costs of adding AC sustainment capability to address capability gaps 4 (Class III(B) Distribution), 10 (Tactical Mobility (Transportation)), and 17 (Division Level and EAB Maintenance). It is unlikely that DOD will shift funding away from other services to accomplish this, so we need a plan to find it within our own budget.
