These days businesses must work hard on their brands and company images. Businesses need to be culturally aware so that they are not contributing to racism, sexism, colorism, ageism, ableism, heterosexism, etc. Locate three businesses with social media presence and analyze whether they are doing well being equitable and inclusive or are they failing miserably. Analyze the three businesses social media networks using the information gathered in class and the textbook.
In the first individual assignment, students need to prepare a 5-minute presentation (with voiceover) of their analysis of their three chosen businesses.
Presentation should reflect lessons presented in class. Think of the material and discussions from Chapters 1-3 of the textbook. Must cite to sources.
All presentations must be submitted on Canvas(in the applicable forum discussion).
